I need help registering people for my website...

I have the standard log-in box on the front page, but it just asks for username and password and has a link to click in case a person has forgotten their password...

Can someone please help me put a link beneath that telling people to "Click Here to Register" that would take to a separate page with the sign-up form?

This article should help you get started:

Also, WebLoginPE has a couple of registration options. See Scotty Delicious’ site for more info: http://demo.scottydelicious.com/register.html

        Hi Brian,

sorry, am not answering your question directly, but thought you might be interested in using WebLoginPE as an alternative? WebLoginPE will enable you to manage web user login, logout, registration, profile editing, profile deleting, password recovery, and user activation.

You can find it here: http://modxcms.com/WebLoginPE-1.3.1-2142.html

        and forum here:

        Hope you find it useful

          Quick method

Check your snippets to make sure you have the "WebSignup" snippet installed.

Make a new document named Register, (for this example it has an id of 5) adjust settings to your prefernces and add the snippet call to the content area of the document. (make sure it is published at very least)
          ex: [!WebSignup!]

now all you have to do is add the link to the document in your template or wherever:
          ex: <a href="[~5~]" title="Register for an account">Register</a>

            Actually, I got to thinking...

I already have a registration process that people must go through to access my vBulletin forums page, so why do I need to have them register twice? There’s nothing that they need to register for through my main website, anyway.

So is there a way to completely delete the shaded right sidebar on my site pages (since there’s nothing there anymore after I deleted the code to login box that was there) and have the text on my page and the top menu bar expand all the way to the right side of the screen?
