When I delete images in the images/ dir of my website and then replace them with images with the same names, the old images still appear.

Even if I do not replace the images, just delete them, they still appear on the site. I can only assume they are being cached somewhere.

I have tried deleting/uploading via MODx manager and by a standalone FTP program.
I have tried clearing the cache for my website using Site > Clear cache in MODx manager.
I have deselected the Cacheable tickbox in that page’s Page Settings tab.

I am using Firefox3 set to reload pages with each refresh.

(MODx 0.9.6.1p2, Windows Server, Apache 2.2.4, PHP 5.2.4-dev)

Can anyone suggest what I might be missing?

    Cheers,

    G

I have found that Firefox often caches images even if the rest of the page is loaded new each time. I have to explicitly refresh the browser (shift-refresh, on a Mac) to get the new image.
