We're using Babel on a 2.3.2 website and we've used it before ok. It seems that if you create an initial page and then use the 'translate' feature to create a linked page in another language context, the URL is duplicated. It's fine for the user as the translated 'site.com/page.html' becomes 'site.com/fr/page.html' for example. But if you try and edit one of these pages after creating them, Modx won't save, showing the message 'Resource 53 is already using the URI' for example on the Resource Alias field.
I guess we can go through the entire foreign language site and rename all Resource Alias fields, but this seems a bit painful. Does anyone know if we've overlooked something in configuration?
So, what I found was if you go to 'System Settings' and type in 'use_alias_path' into the search, setting this value to 'Yes' cures the problem. Hopefully this post may help others.
