If so, check the path in the File System Media source in Media -> Media Sources. Generally, the basePath will be blank and basePathRelative will be set to Yes.
If that doesn't work, you can try using the actual full path to the MODX root (viewable in cPanel's File Manager) for the basePath value and set basePathRelative to No.
