    Hi,

I am experimenting with thickbox to display the contents of documents in my MODx site. (They are 1-page menus for a restaurant). Strangely, whenever I click the link which brings up the thickbox window, when I go back to my MODx manager tab to make adjustments, I have been logged out!!

    All being done in Firefox3.

I can switch to another browser to check changes as I make them, but this is a pain.

Anybody know why this is happening and how I can prevent it?

    Cheers,

    gav

You may want to run jQuery in noConflict mode. This could be a javascript conflict (modx’s mootools vs. jquery)/

Something is happening here, but you don't know what it is.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this but it’s difficult to know how to reference the other conflicting library if it is part of MODx and not explicity called in my script, so no luck here.

(I call my scripts as follows:)
        <script type="text/javascript" src="[(base_url)]assets/js/jquery.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="[(base_url)]assets/js/thickbox.js"></script>

I think in the interests of speed I will use another browser to preview as I go.

        Cheers, G
