    Hi

Im using ajaxsearch, I was wondering if i could filter out results so that it does not appear in the search result.
Not filter out pages but sections of a page. can I define a start and stop section where the search engine would perform its search?

or would it be better if i used another plugin instead of ajaxsearch?

I think you would need to place part of the page in a TV and filter that tv from the search. Otherwise I think you will need a custom snippet.

            Hi
I put the menu section into the template, and it no longer displays in the search results.
(ie everything in the document content is searchable, templates are not).
