    Hey everyone!
    As you may know, SourceForge just announced that they’ve opened nominations for the Best Open Source projects!

    I want to be the first to nominate MODx in the Best Project category!
    Now, wouldn’t it be cool to see a project win that isn’t hosted at SourceForge?

        Sorry for the late reply.
        For the nominations, I’m pretty sure you have to register with Sourceforge. Maybe they’ll allow anyone to vote after the nominations are all in.

            I have been pretty much under these past few weeks, I hope votes are still open !
            I’ll try to raise the community awareness about this, maybe I’ll see with Zi if the badge can’t be put up on the forum templates... thanks !!!

              On a related note, the Packt nominations (the one MODx won last year) have opened again: http://www.packtpub.com/award. Haven’t seen any mention of it around here yet...

                Please hold off on nominating MODx for the time being, you might have noticed there is some rebranding - version numering upgrade going on wink

                More about that very soon, but MODx shouldn’t be submitted with the current/old branding/rev num

                  Just to underline David’s request to hold off on nominations: Please do hold off as there are not only some cool things happening with the MODx brand but also with MODx 0.9.6.x branch as it will be around for a while. There are plans for an official announcment/unveiling next week.
