hi there

i’ve got a few questions.

i’m completely new to modx.
i’ve read all the documentation.

is there someone in here that has a basic tutorial on how to start with your website.

what’s the best specific order in what you can build your website in.

and some tips where i should pay some attention to.

Start with a working template and replace static items with dynamic ones. There is an article in the wiki that has a nice overview for building the template.

You will want to be familiar with the most common snippets, Wayfinder and Ditto.

The best way to get familiar is to install the demo site and play with it bu adding new pages and editing existing ones. There is a working blog example as well as other goodies like private pages ad login scripts.

thank you very much.

more tips are welcome.

See the site in my sig.
