because the products are saved as resources, I have tried importX, but in the csv file for import, you need to state any non-standard fields with their TV id (e.g.tv10) rather than their name - but there is no id for the simplecart fields - namely: simplecart-product-resource-code and simplecart-product-resource-image. I really want to use simplecart, as it's perfect for what I am doing, but it's not possible to manually add 18,000 products!
I guess it's possible to import directly into the database, but I don't know how to do this.
Can anyone think of a way round this?

UPDATE on this - I have been Speaking with Mark Hamstra who has kindly given me some pointers on how to use standard TVs for Product image and product Code, which, with the help of system settings, is supposed to pull the data from those TVs into the correct Simple Cart fields. But it's not working.
As per attached, this is the system setting - to align the TV with the SimpleCart field.
Now, if I enter a value into the Simple Cart Product Code field, it also then populates the TV I created.
But If I enter something into the TV, with NOTHING in the Simple Cart Product Code field, it still takes the blank value and overwrites the TV.
Does anyone know how to write a plugin that takes the value from a TV and populates a simpleCart field?
Really struggling with this - the rest of my cart working brilliantly - but I cannot get my products in!
