I am building a site in modx, but also I have more pages on php, which connect with my documents in modx.
When directing to the modx documents, I need to verify the session variables, but I noticed modx can’t see any session variables set outside..
any ideas please?

The session name can be found in the config.inc.php file; this is the session used by MODx. Any external files wanting to use that session would need to set its session_name to the same one before starting the session. Would it be possible to access those php pages using snippets or plugins? In that case, the session would already be started by MODx.
