404 Page not showing on mobile

    Hi,

    I'm encountering a problem in a website that is running on Revo 2.4.3-pl when a mobile device tries to go to a non existing page instead of displaying the resource set for 404 pages it seems to return a 503 error instead (blank page whit the error)

    Ex: https://rentananny.nl/ooops.html

    I encounter the same error on both Android(chrome), Android(firefox) and IOS(Safari). i have not tested on any other mobiel devices/browsers since all 3 above gave the same result.

    On desktop the 404 page displays as intended, all tests where performed on the same network

    does anyone know how I can solve this issue ?

      This isn't much help, but most likely some faulty code is executing on the mobile device that's not executing on the desktop site.

      Is the mobile part a separate site/page, or are you using some responsive framework?

        The website is build on Bootstrap framework there are no separate pages for mobile

          It's showing the 503 page for me on desktop, Chrome on a mac
          Do you have custom error pages as the html returned says 404 in the title but 503 in the body ?

            I am seeing the same as Paulp.

            jasperb is it possible that the differing results you are seeing are the result of your browser cache on some devices?
