Hello,
i´m new to MODX CMs (Revo 2.5.0.) and i but haven't figured out the right way (or any other way:) ) to do the following:
+I have a section of the website which holds contacts to the several services the institution provides, and a FAQ section which also holds a FAQ list for each service.
I have something like:
Main
Services
>Elderly
>Youth
>...
FAQs
>Elderly
>Youth
>...
Contacts
>Elderly
>Youth
>...
+What i am trying to do is, in the service page itself (say Elderly), pull (embed?) information those other pages/resources (Contacts and FAQs) so that when i make a change to say the contact of a certain service it reflects on every page that uses that information.
Since i am i'm just starting with MODX i'm trying to figure out the right way to do this.
Is there a wright/best way to do this?
Thank you
Arsénio

One way would be to put basic information like contact information into chunks. Then you can use the chunks wherever you want that information.
Another way is to use Template Variables, and with pdoTools installed you can use its FastField feature to get the desired TV value according to the ID of the resource whose TV has that value - [[#42.tv.contact]]
For FAQs, I tend to use a MIGX TV, and you can list those anywhere you like, the properties of the listing snippets specify which resource you want to get the list from.
I'm not sure about this, but the ezFAQ snippet might do what you want. The actual information is stored in a chunk and it should be possible to present it anywhere by inserting the ezFAQ snippet tag where you want the information. The properties in the tag should allow you to show the specific FAQ you want to display.
