Snippet call from within a Chunk in a Template

When I have this call in my template, it works great:

<div class="BioPageGallery">
[!Ditto?documents=`[*BioWorks*]` &tpl=`BioGalleryTpl`  &sortBy=`menuindex` &sortDir=`ASC` &display=`all` &noResults=` `!]
</div>
```
But when I put the same call in a chunk called [tt]{{BioGallery}}[/tt], and then call that chunk in place of the code in the template, it does NOT work.

I tried different combinations of [tt][!..!][/tt] and [tt][[...]][/tt] and replacing [tt][*BioWorks*][/tt] with [tt][+BioWorks+][/tt], but I couldn’t figure it out.

I’ve been experiencing kinda similar issues calling a snippet in a chunk, what I’ve found is that using non-caching snippets are ignored i.e.
[!Ditto!] wont work in the chunk but changing it to [[Ditto]] does.

as far as calling your Bioworks variable, have you tried [+tvBioworks+]?
