Hi there,
I have a fresh install of Revo 2.4.4 and I have successfully downloaded the packages but when I try to install them the console just says 'Console Running' and nothing else.
When I close it or refresh the page, the package remains uninstalled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using the info at
https://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/administering-your-site/upgrading-modx, re-run setup with a fresh 2.4.4.zip file unpacked on the server (no FTP). Something may have gotten mucked up during install.
Also, check to see if there's anything in the MODX error log. I've found that it sometimes helps to reload the page and wait until it's fully loaded before doing something that uses the console.
The UpgradeMODX extra can also help, since it's easy to reset the settings_version System Setting and "upgrade" to the version you're currently using.
Clearing your browser cache and cookies can also help, since a leftover cookie can cause various kinds of weirdness in the Manager after an upgrade.

I tried a fresh install using a zip file unpacked on the server but I still get the same issue.
Could it be a permissions thing on the server?
Check the security settings with your hosting provider. Could be a modSecurity issue server-side. Probably you can spot an application firewall error log in you cPanel. If so you can check if a security rule matched and stopped the extra-installation.
