package browser does not show nor find anything. Says "Loading..." forever.

curl activated
provider is default: http://rest.modx.com/extras/
firewall deactivated
installation of modx went smooth

Anyone can help?

Setup does not show any errors, but in the log it says a couple of times (~10) for various files:

Could not install files from E:/XAMPP/htdocs/modx/core/packages/core/xPDOFileVehicle/063b436c02a7ae99c1785c0df798ecd8/ to E:/XAMPP/htdocs/modx/connectors/

modx subfolders are all writeable by the webserver.

Tried to test curl and ran thi script: http://www.nextscripts.com/tutorials/how-to-check-if-curlssl-is-working-properly/.

Truncated output is:

Testing ... http://www.nextscripts.com/ - http://www.nextscripts.com/
....HTTP to NXS - OK
Testing ... http://www.google.com/intl/en/contact/ - http://www.google.com/intl/en/contact/
....HTTP to Google - OK
Testing ... https://www.google.com/intl/en/contact/ - https://www.google.com/intl/en/contact/
....HTTPS to Google - Problem
SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificateArray
[...]

Seems like curl with SSL does not work, all the other HTTPS requests produce similar errors. But
http://rest.modx.com/extras/ is not SSL anyway, so this can't be the problem, right?

I tried a couple of combinations: PHP 5.5 instead of 5.6, Bitnami modx-module instead of MODX-download, 2.4.2 instead of the recent, always same result. Package Manager broken. No extras listed. "Loading..." forever.

Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit german. XAMPP win32.

Anyone knows about this? Did not find a bug that matches exactly this problem on GitHub.]]>
