I’m a newbie in anything web programming - but i did account & project management for web design & dev (ako lang ang traffic officer hehehe), i also write contents and an active blogger. Just starting to learn the technical part of web development, as in half a step away from making the first step of what most of you guys know.

Anyway, i really, really, badly needed your help!

I want to install MODx on localhost - windows PC. I followed the instructions - installed XAMPP, downloaded the latest MODX, followed the installation guide. Unfortunately, i can’t seem to understand the installation steps kaya may error ang installation ko. Actually, wala ata akong nainstall.

I tried installing wordpress and it was a success but with modx wala talagang nangyari. I am an ABSOLUTE beginner about this - di ko maintindihan ang instructions sa guide. I don’t know anythign about MySQL and PHP. HELP me naman! I need a very detailed instruction. Hinanap ko na sa forum hindi ko maintindihan talaga.

I really like modx - for years, i’ve been using this CMS for my web content projects, i think this is better than joomla. I want to use MODx kasi for my new site that i will design. I want to test locally before going live.
