The only thing done now is a grid with some filter options for Resources. This is what it looks like-ish:

I'm probably going to adapt a different UI style, based on the work from Lossendae which is used in his Cliche package. Mainly cause it looks super sexy and VersionX 2 also is super sexy. smiley On top of that there'll be some very interesting configuration options and other stuff I've got planned. But I don't want to promise specifics until it's done smiley

I'll keep this topic up to date for sure if there's real news to report. For the running stuff on VersionX or one of the other 4 projects I'm working on, just follow me on Twitter: @mark_hamstra.]]>

VersionX 2.0 wont be released until I'm happy with it and with very limited hours to spend on this that'll be a while smiley

But we'll get there.]]>

If you’re getting an endless save loop the plugin probably goofed up, disabling the plugin on the Elements tab will fix that.
Besides that, I can’t think of ways that it may actually break stuff. Just sayin’ it could probably ruin an otherwise quiet evening (tho the current version in the Repo would too tongue).]]>

That’s Louis Hoefler part of the German MODX community I think - he contacted me via email. Attached the latest he sent me. I didn’t test this so using it is at your own risk wink

Do you think there is a risk to use it? Is there anything what could be damaged by using it?

I’ve added the packages to the repo, so you can download them from here: https://github.com/Mark-H/VersionX/tree/master/_releases now too - but I still don’t think it works properly.

While I rarely have time, it’s good that you guys are posting here. The more that post - the higher this is added on my to do list, and whenever I have some time it’ll have a better shot at coming in.]]>

access denied... but i can download alpha6, which doesn’t help me... any way to unlock alpha7 for public consumption?

also.. I built the alpha7 from GitHUB and when I run the package and install it, it installs succesfully but when I goto the VersionX component, I am greeted with a blank page and I get a script error

http://mywebsite.com/manager/js/versionx.js?vx=100a6

so that path is wrong or someting is fishy??

any ideas]]>
