Sort of on-topic, mostly off-topic: Maybe a good sub-forum would be for neat tools? I just discovered a terrific lgpl download management script, Olate Download, http://www.olate.co.uk whose back-end would serve as an excellent model for us to examine.
I'm using it now; I'll have the downloads link on my main page in a few minutes. Still organizing the files. It could do with a bit more automation on the file uploads in the management area, but it's still pretty nice.]]>sottwellApr 08, 2005, 02:30 AMhttps://forums.modx.com/thread/27852/basecamp-rocks#dis-post-148593

As a Basecamp user from day one, I can tell you that it does indeed rock and works well. I might just already have a project set up in my company for MODx, too.
I think we should use it for sure, that is until we duplicate it in MODx of course!]]>rethrashApr 07, 2005, 11:35 AMhttps://forums.modx.com/thread/27852/basecamp-rocks#dis-post-148586

Any interest in using this to manage our core development tasks, milestones, and messages? We can manage one project (e.g. the MODx core) for free! Might even be able to talk these guys into giving us a little bigger account for free, since we're an open source project. Just a thought...]]>opengeekApr 07, 2005, 10:47 AMhttps://forums.modx.com/thread/27852/basecamp-rocks#dis-post-148585
