I forget to check back on threads a lot. After a question is asked many times I will ask for clarification on the question and may forget to not check back :-/ maybe thats my own problem tho...]]>

Chris’s site and presentation skills are just simply amazing. He has two main things going for him: one, he is a very talented guy with a wide range of technical skills, and two, he has excellent communication skills. He can take quite complicated technical material and present it in a straightforward manner that builds up from the basics one step at a time. He uses illustrations, sample code, live demonstrations, screencasts and language (that does not assume too much from the reader) to present his topics.

I have toured quite a few web design and development sites and very few of them match the communication techniques that Chris employs. To be honest there have been times when I have been reading some of the MODx verbiage and have have asked myself "if only this material was presented in the manner that Chris uses..."

there ar some questions on the forum that require more effort to understand than to resolve. One of my bigget forum pet-peeve are titles that don’t give any hints to the problems at hand. Like "Help" or "It doesn’t work". I no longer read these (well I still do but don’t like to).

What is your forum pet-peeve?]]>
