Yeh, they just made it possible with their newest release, v0.2.9 (eWAY just integrated in)...just came out within the last week I believe.

I’ve been using FoxyCart as my sole e-commerce solution for all my websites b/c it’s so easy to set up, integrates right into your design. There is absolutely no hacking of any kind, just paste a few snippets into the body of your template a few links for CSS and JS into your header, and you’re good to go. Of course my favorite part of FoxyCart is that it fits like a glove with MODx. One of the 2 foundational designers behind FoxyCart solely uses MODx for his CMS solution and a lot of support is provided in FoxyCart’s docs for MODx users.

Bob, you talked about a contribution link. Yeh, if you’re cool with just a simple button people click on to donate, a Paypal button is fine. Obviously the downside is that the landing page is a Paypal page giving you only the ability to put a small banner image at the top. But if you want the visitor to land on a page that looks the same as your site, FoxyCart is again the way to go. I just used FoxyCart for a political website (built using MODx) I just launched to handle donations:

From what I have read the choices are:
Modx + cubecart
Modx - shopx
Modx - xcart - still in idea phase?
Modx - kiweecommerce
Modx + Foxycart $ (and not yet for Australia)

Is this it?
Is Kiweecommerce the winner here?

I think there are other successful options to use that haven’t been included in this list.

When is modx ver 0.9.7 due? I was reading that it may include xcart?

So many questions! Sorry.


EDIT: So it looks like the latest plan is to combine oscommerce with modx. Has anyone done this seemlessly?
