Now the problem is.... I got lost in all the functions and stuff hehe

I would love to have MODx on my portal but I don’t know how to put the stuff in my template.....

I wan’t to have:
- 8 last news on my index
- archive of the news on some other page (ex. archive.php) categorized in months (ex. march, september... bla bla)

- when I write the news, can I put it in different categories?
