nothing shows up on the main page, any idea? u can post something to test, it worked however it still shows text that i dont want there ( i.e. the comments part )

edit:
ok got the chunk edited and took out
([!Jot? &docid=`[+id+]` &action=`count-comments`!])
cuz that wasnt working, any idea why?

Also, how do i make it so only admins can post new news, and take out the posting link from the menu, sorry for all the questsions
