Many pages going back years here are still useful. Will a new system keep all the data and allow people to search/connect information? I have my doubts

Edit I mean the old one will be archived, but will the new system build a new deep database of knowledge? If its transitory, that simply won't work.

Posting screen shots didn't work for a long time. I don't know if that's been fixed or not. In addition, the forum search doesn't work very well at all.

TBH, I think you might be better off with one of the Forums listed here: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/best-forum-software#gref. its got some old info and you can probably get it running with a little effort. The forum is basically stable, but its very bare-bones and some functionality would be hard to add or change.

its got some old info and you can probably get it running with a little effort. The forum is basically stable, but its very bare-bones and some functionality would be hard to add or change.
