Looking in core/cache/logs - I get this error > (ERROR @ /public_html/core/model/modx/modmanagerresponse.class.php : 114) PHP warning: Parameter 1 to modManagerController::getInstance() expected to be a reference, value given

I am suddenly experiencing this same problem. Manager shows only blank page and chrome gives me a 500 error. The site is working but not the manager. Tried clearing the cache manually... Nothing on the server error log. I have just updated to latest version of modx week ago and everything was working fine, not anymore...

Any ideas?

And what does this mean:

For starters, I would empty this table (but don't delete the table itself):

modx_dashboard_widget_placement

Does this mean i should take all the numbers away from the database from the table?

Note: I am over my head with literally 13 site upgrades. All right before my vacation... my wife is not happy :'(

Be sure to manually delete the cache files before logging in.

Nothing Mark...

I would think this issue is due to the fact the site had all its JS files overwritten with injected code - so I went through and replaced them with original file contents.. but for some JS files that had been infected I didnt have an original copy from a backup of this site so I used from other sites... I guess I have broken it that way... but would think the fact I have replaced all the folders on the server with ones from fresh install (albeit an old version) it should work?
