MODx Evolution 1.0.13 RC2 - need help with tests

This may or may not be a stupid question, but here goes anyway:

Are there any specific things that need testing

I don't have one site that uses all of the same plugins, snippets etc. so testing by simply installing over a current site isn't possible.

I can set-up a site solely for testing, but I need to know (as do others) what changes have been made, including documentation if new elements have been introduced into the system.

As of yet I haven't seen any new documentation for all of the changes that were introduced into 1.0.12

Basically need performance testing on different versions of php

And you can very well identify bugs updating already collected a couple of sites

we conducted tests but experience shows sometimes errors appear in the most unexpected places

Where to report typos in / commit corrections for langfiles? I stumbled upon a (very) little typo in german.inc.php – not sure where to go with it. I'm not (yet) familiar with all that git handling (I'm trying to get into it) – is a new pull request the right place for such a peanut? Thank you!

Small language fixes could been done on GitHub. You just have to create an account on GitHub. After that locate the language file in the evolution development branch and edit that file online. After saving it online you could easily create a pull request.

Large language file changes could be done smarter with your own account on Transifex.

Maybe this is a bug, maybe not:
I have a problem with transalias plugin for file uploads for a long time - and it still remains:
case 1) use of transalias plugin for ressource alias - works as expected
case 2) same settings, config checked for use transalias plugin in fileuploads - result is different

Do I miss something? I have this problem since an evo update around version 1.02/1.04, not sure. I never found a solid working solution, only an ugly patch with iconv/preg_replace that works for me to 90%. I guess it's about wrong encoded files included somewhere in the parsing-process… at that time I put several hours to find a solution with no achievement.
So I was hoping there will be a chance to see it working in 1.0.13 … can anybody reproduce this?
Since there is no other MODx user recently (yes there are some old threads in the forums…) complaining about that issue I feel a bit lost, maybe there is something wrong with my setup? Fresh install 1.0.13 rc2, Mac OSX 10.9 Zend Server CE php 5.3.14.

I would be thankful for any advice.

Ouch, I had it fixed for MCPUK browser, but we changed file browsers after 1.0.8

Is there a good reason not to use the most recent version of ManagerManager plugin?

1.0.13 installs mm 0.3.11 (2012-02-15), in the repos there is mm 0.5.1 (2013-07-17) http://modx.com/extras/package/managermanager

Not yet tested the new MM
there is still some questions that need to test:
-Upgrading without deleting the old version files
- Speed​​-work after added jQuery UI
