Hi guys,
The name of the thread really explains it all, does anyone know if there is one ? If the answer is no, is there an a easy way to implement this functionality.
Many thanks in advanced,
Joe

Hi Joe,
Just set the Publish Date on an individual article when it created for it to publish on that date and time.
Publish Date = Date to Publish
Unpublish Date = Date to Remove
Hope that helps
Publish Date is field associated with all MODX Resources, not just articles. See a screen capture here:

StageCoach is mainly for scheduling updates to already published resources.
It would be possible to use getResources and a custom snippet to create a publication management form.
getResources would generate the form listing all the resources with publication date field for each one, and the snippet would update the pub_date field of the resources on submission.
If you could get by without a date picker widget and enter the dates as text, it should be really easy.
You could also have a button next to each one that launched a processor that updated the pub date.
Another way to go would be to alter the CMP that comes with MyComponent (or probably easier -- Batcher) to show, and allow editing of the pu_date field.
BTW, Batcher already lists all resources (or a selected subset of resources) and allows you to publish them manually with a double-click on the "Published" column or check a bunch of them and publish them all with the "Bulk Actions" dropdown.
You can also right-click on a resource in the tree and publish it.

Are you sure you've attached the StageCoach TVs to the page template? I'm pretty sure it worked for Articles when I tested it. I could be wrong -- I have so many extras that I confuse them with each other.

Duh. I have so many sites going it's hard to keep them all straight. For the site I looked at for Articles, I had Stagecoach turned off. So, no problem, it's working fine in Articles.

Yes, it definitely has trouble with Articles when it's disabled.
