If phpAdmin is the only way of dealing this then how do you deal with importing large sql files?

When you import using Vapor (the suggested way of importing to Cloud) that shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure from the top of my mind what the upload limit for phpmyadmin is set to currently on the Cloud, but I would expect it to be around 10 mb.

I've got a large site which is going to be a pain getting ssh so i'm guessing vapor will time out using the browser (but not 100%). But i know the sql file is 30mb+ as there some custom tables in there that are massive.
I suppose the only way would be if vapor does fail, is to do it in sections. What i was considering was to get a local copy and then run vapor via ssh. But wasn't able to execute the php file via terminal without errors and haven't tried again. I will at some point seek help via support.

If you have a very large SQL file to import for a site, you can open a Cloud support ticket and we'll get you handled.

You can use SSH and scp to upload a large .sql file, then use the command line to import it.
