How do I get the Ajaxsearch snippet to validate strict? I am sure it has been asked, but I can’t find a solution.
What’s not causing it to validate strict? I’m not aware of it having anything to cause it to fail w3c validators. Maybe a link to where it’s failing for you?

I am still at a loss. The errors that I am seeing are not from code I wrote. They are from the code the snippet generates. Maybe I will need to mod the snippet some?
I’m guessing the snippet needs a fieldset added. Try switching to a transitional doctype to see what happens for grins.

I figured it needed a <fieldset>. I just don’t know how to go about doing that with the snippet. It validates in transitional.
Note to self: strict doctype forms require fieldsets!

Ya, but my problem is figuring out how to put it in the snippet. I am assuming that is the only way to add a fieldset to the ajaxsearch snippet.
