Unfortunately it is not possible to install Zend as described here:

    http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/AdvSearch

The reason is that nowhere in the zip-folder is the file "Exception.php" and the path Zend is also not in the root of the unzipped folder.

Maybe we downloaded the wrong Zend-installation? In the description the mentioned link:

    http://framework.zend.com/download/current/

results in 404 not found. Therefore we have chosen "Zend Framework 2.0 minimal 2.0.2" on this site:

    http://www.zend.com/community/downloads

Is this the correct file of do we have to take a different one to avoid our problems described above?

Apologies, it seems that zend has changed the url of the download page.

1/ Go to the zend Framework download page at
      http://www.zend.com/en/community/downloads

2/ register you and download the free Zend Framework 1.12. Minimal release is enough.

The tests have been done with the release 1.11 but you could get the 1.12.

I will update the documentation with the release 2.0.2 when I have finished to test this new release.[EDIT] ZF2 release doesn't include the lucene search library. So don't use this library. [ed. note: coroico last edited this post 11 years, 6 months ago.]

Can't get the Zend-egine to work.
Error :: "Fatal error: Class 'Zend_Search_Lucene' not found in long_path_to_webroot/core/components/advsearch/model/advsearch/advsearchresults.class.php on line 244"

        Installed Zend under "assets/libraries/Zend"

Indexation.php runs with no problems, creates some files under assets/files/docindex.

I am lost at the moment...... Any suggestions?? [ed. note: spoetnik last edited this post 11 years, 6 months ago.]

Take care with the release of the Zend Framework during the installation. the release 2 (and upper) doesn't include the lucene search library. So don't use this library. Use the release 1.12 minimal instead.

I have updated the installation chapter of the AdvSearch documentation on the demo web site. See 1.5 release of the documentation.
The demo web site run now with the ZF 1.12 lucene library.

I do have version 1.2 Minimal in place. Is advsearch compatible with Modx 2.2.5??

Attached is a screenshot of my lucene index/ Does this look correct? I have no idea of what files to expect in there.....

            Thanks

              Hi there,

I'd like to check some of coroico's query demo files but several have php errors, is there a way to read the code though ?

              for example,
              http://www.revo.wangba.fr/assets/files/advsearch/queryhook/filter6qhook.snippet.php.txt

or might coroico fix this ? Thank you if you can
Sorry for that ⇧ , I'm no dev but I wanna try

                • I don't understand this indexation.php business. A quick echo statement indicates that there are 1092 resources to index (after fiddling with the configuration), but it only lists 27 resources indexed.

What is this supposed to do, and why do I want to run it? Documentation is extremely sparse.

I have a simple search form with two selectboxes (land, species). The search goes very well and is very fast but I have a problem that gives me the shivers.

                      ....

                      Edit:

Post moved to its own thread.

                      Regard,
