Did you navigate to a directory that contains images, then click on that directory to make the images appear in the browser, then select one?
Yes I dod but that directory does not have any files listed...
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.

I hope these questions aren’t insulting, just trying to pin things down.

What is the file extension of the image files you are using?

What’s the path to the directory they are in?

Can you see them in cPanel’s file manager when you browse to that directory?

What are the permission settings on those files and that directory?

      • I looked into his site, and couldn’t find anything wrong. He’s got writable assets/images, with two writable folders, one empty, one with several images, but nothing at all shows in the resource browser window, nor does creating a new folder or uploading an image in the resource browser work. File Manager works just fine. Individual user settings are left empty. I tried different path and URL variations for the resource browser, still nothing. He’s got suhosin, though, which I understand can cause odd problems.

That’s definitely odd. I withdraw my questions and apologize for my skepticism.

Apparently hoofbeats -> zebra in this case.  wink

            • Ahah. Those two folder names have a space; that was hard to tell since in File Manager there’s a heavy underline for the link that makes it impossible to tell if there’s an underscore there until looking at the frame source. Being a *nix user from way back, it doesn’t come natural to me to think of filenames with spaces!

BobRay, have you been reading Slashdot?

                • No, there was just an article there the other day about some teenaged girl finding the cause of her chronic illness, and that hoofbeats -> horses/zebras bit was mentioned frequently. Apparently it’s a common expression in the medical field. I had never heard of it before.
