Brief Description:
This is a Huck module to make MODx correspond to the subdomain and the subsite.
All subdomains completely become INDEPENDENT.

could the instructions for this be any more vague ?

the download comes with an install folder, and a manager folder, the instructions doesn’t say much on what to do,
when i tried to run the install it shows 2 warnings

First step, you should put the install folder from original MODx0.9.5.
And, overwrite this kit to an original folder.

I have absolutely no idea what you just said

what is the orig MODx9.5 install ? you mean the one used to instal modx ?

I thing he means to replace the install and manager folders in 0.9.5 with the
ones in his software and then intall MODx to a new folder...
I could be totally wrong for sticking my nose where I should not!!!

so we would have to reinstall modx ?

Not completely. The "install" and "manager" folders that come with this hack contain files that need to be added or overwritten to the original install and manager folders. So re-upload the original install folder, overwrite it with this one, and upload this manager folder to overwrite the relevant files in the original manager folder. Then run the installer.

and when we run installer do we want to select new installation ? or upgrade installation

Try upgrade. Backup everything first!

gspark, Do you try to install MODx newly? or upgrade?
If your site has already been operated, It is not necessary to make the installer run.
And only when you want to add a new subsite, you only have to start the installer by the new subsite
name.

Pure new installation? select new installation.
