      You are the greatest!
It must have taken you days to make that ebook?
      Very nicely explained, wonderful presentation.
      Many Thanks.

        Jan,

Thx for the compliments. It did take time, a few months actually smiley. I saw from your first post that you are coming in from Drupal? Welcome to MODx! I am curious as to how you found out about MODx....personally I just stumbled upon it...can’t remember the exact details though wink

        cheers/k

          Kongondo,

It is the same with me. I suspect that I tried it via SimpleScripts first.

This wayfinder is really great. Any other snippet/plugin that I should be learning about next?

          cheers mate.

          • The main ones are eForm, Ditto, AjaxSearch, MaxiGallery and if you’ll have user logins WebLoginPE. Each one of these is an application in its own right; hopefully eventually there will be books written on them to match this one for Wayfinder.

Wow! I’m just starting to get back into MODx and what do I find? What a fantastic effort, thank you so very much. Navigation is so important and to have this extra documentation to help ’get it right’ is really awesome!

                I love this guide... smiley

I do have one question to ask. If I were to want to have a custom sort of the menu items how could I do that.

I don’t want to use DESC, or ASC, or pagetitle, and all the other options. Is there any other way to tell it I just want resources numbers:

                7, 12, 11, 8 but I want them in this order : 8, 11, 7, 12 ASC or DESC would not work here.

for example I have: Home | About Us | Contact Us <-- this is being ordered by how your doc tree is ordered. The problem is I have another menu that is relying on the doc tree to stay as is.

Is there anything I can do to accomplish this for the second menu?

                Any help would do

                Thanks,

                Matt

This is one of the few things which will make me put down my book on the tube - it’s essential modx reading.
Huge thanks for producing this resource as there’s always more to learn!

Thank you so much, as so many others have said. This e-book just takes it waaaay over the top.

I’m feeling a bit thick and hoping someone out there can save me even more time and headaches. I’ve got everything up and running; however, I am unable to style the "active" item in my css. Here’s my site. You can get the details from the source.

                      Thanks in advance,
