  • It looks as if you have hand-coded your menu? You’re not using Wayfinder to generate the menu?

I was. I did the hand coded menu just to see if that was the problem.

Do you think that is the issue?
      • Ok. Nothing really wrong here. The template being used has all the content; the individual page content is never inserted using the [*content*] tags. Nor are there any TV, chunk or snippet tags. So for every page you see the same thing, because that’s what is in the template.

I would still recommend an upgrade to at least the latest 0.9.6.3 version.

I’m getting this same thing happening for bodycustom.net. Was there any resolution to this? GoDaddy isn’t very helpful. I still suspect something on their end however I was having an issue installing most packages so I installed Modx Revo 2.0.8 on top of itself and that’s the first time I noticed this. The admin works great however ALL links to bodycustom.net look correct however all redirect back to home page which is my default page for everything including errors.
          • The original problem was that the poster’s template didn’t have the [*content*] tag, so for every page the template itself was all that was being displayed.

Oh. My [[*content]] tag is in all my templates. I must have another issue. I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve tried turning off friendly urls and it still redirects. I’ve switched the error page to see if it was an error causing this, but the page never displayed so it’s not a server error... I’m at a loss.

Do you have anything in your MODx error log?

I had a quick look at your site - it doesn’t seem to be redirecting. But for some reason all the same content is loading on your top level pages. Are they all using the same template?

Try browsing to http://bodycustom.net/index.php?id=8 and you’ll see that your child pages are working ok.

Is your nav menu hard-coded or are you calling Wayfinder cached? Some of the links end in .html and others don’t have the suffix which seems a bit weird.

Thanks, Lucas. Yes my links are hard coded in the menu. When you tested I must have had aliases off. You should see the full paths now.

einsteinsboi, no errors on the host or modx.

No no, the aliases were on but it’s still possible to use the ’index.php?q=’ string to grab a page. I was just saying that your child pages (such as the one I posted) are loading content correctly, just not the top level for some reason.

Are they all using the same template?

Also, what’s in your .htaccess file?
