I thought I’d seen this posted somewhere, but now I can’t find it, so maybe I was dreaming the whole thing. grin

I don’t seem to have a date/time picker on date fields anymore since upgrading to 1.0.0. For example, on Page Settings tab, there is no date picker on the Publish date and Un-publish date fields.

I’ve attached a .png of the way the fields look to me.

I’ve tried this in both Firefox 3.5 and IE 7, with no luck.
    • The datepicker should trigger when entering the fields automatically. Are you not seeing that behavior?

No. Nothing happens for me at all, I’m afraid.

        I’m on Windows XP.

Also tested it on Opera 9.64 and for two different MODx installations, with no luck.

On Firefox, it says ’Transferring data from www.example.com’, but nothing ever happens.

The cursor does change when I hover over the boxes, but that’s all.

        • Did you click on the input field?

            Yes.

Actually, something must be happening, because when I navigate away from the page afterwards, I get the alert asking if I want to save as something has changed on the page.

            But no date picker.
            • Odd. I have several sites locally and remote using various versions from rc3 to one from svn last week, and they all work just fine.

              • I’ve tested across multiple setups and not been able to reproduce the issue either so I don’t think it’s a problem with MODx itself. My inkling is that this could be an issue with perhaps a corrupt file (try re-uploading the files to the server) or maybe something interfering with the JS code.

Do you see any errors in the error console? Also, do you have any plugins running that may conflict with the datepicker?

Also now tested on my Mac to the same result, so obviously *something* is conflicting within the setup, but I have no idea what. I wonder if there is some residual file from the previous installation that’s getting in the way, but I’m not sure what it would be. I upgraded by overwriting files rather than deleting all and re-uploading them all again.

I have even less on your site, Susan. laugh Nothing at all when I click in the field. (See uploaded png from your site. Is that what it’s supposed to look like?)

Mind you, I see your site is RC3, so maybe it’s supposed to look different...
