Yes, upgrading removed the error.
And the schema create works, it’s just
2.0.4pl2only compatible

Mmmm... having something like a "terminal" would be nice for this kind of things instead of creating a doc to run a snippet once and then delete the doc.
You can do this with a PHP script run on the command-line. See

for quick CMPs per snippet you can also try my special CMP. See my signature.

You can already do that with the script. It works fine outside of MODx as long as you set the variables at the top. I just run it in my code editor.

Good to hear. Thanks for checking.
Thanks for the update Bob, I’ve not had a chance to try it yet but I was using 2.0.4pl. Will come back once I try it, probably tomorrow.
OK that worked Bob! One thing you may want to include in your tutorial is the quotes directory needs to be writable otherwise you get a long list of errors. Well I did anyway, it said directory not found or does not exist so I made it chmod 777 and it worked just fine.
Thanks a lot, hope you have a lot more REV tuts coming, we need them!
If I already have a table with a lot of information in it, do I have to delete it and go through this process then add it or can I leave it in there and follow the steps after the table creation?

You can easily use a table with existing data. Just don’t run the create databse part ;-)
on a different note
The Create Classes snippet will generate classes for all tables with the defined prefix, but is there any built-in functionality to add relations between these tables, or would the schema have to be corrected afterwards? And I guess as a result there of the classes as well?
Been fiddling with it all day but can’t seem to get it working.
edit: appended a question of my own.
Would you be able to cover how to use WHERE, LIMIT, ORDER BY in the next tutorial? I really would like to find that out for my custom json feeds.

The best thing is to just post an example of what you’re trying to do. Usually, someone will show you the xPDO for it. If you do a forum search, you’ll find some things there already:
