Currently uploading multiple images is a nightmare, I don’t understand why you can’t just shift click multiple files, especially in Gallery that must be essential surely?
Modx is amazing by the way, love it, thank you for all your time and effort.

So just doing some digging about on these forums, looks like you might be able to upload a zip file which is then unzipped on the server? Tried it with Gallery but it is just saying "saving" and not completing. Do I need to make some changes to my php ini file? Or will this method not work at all?
Thanks
It’s only possible to upload multiple images at one time (using shift) with flash. I don’t think Gallery uses flash.
You can upload the zip through the file manager (not through Gallery), and then unzip it (I think it’s a right click option in the file tree, or you’ll have to do that through your cPanel file manager). Then in Gallery, don’t upload images but use the other button to search for images.

I agree with the topic-starter: uploading a ZIP file should be a standard option in Gallery. I love that feature in MaxiGallery.
Then you’d better post a feature request for that on Github:

Yeah a zip file would be perfect, wish i could help Splittingred out but I wouldn’t even know how to begin (just a front end guy). Splittingred, how much do you think this will cost to make a priority maybe you could PM me?
I’m also very interested on this topic.
Will also pay/donate to get this additions added to queue as soon as possible if there’s a way.
Please let me know.
I can make one using javascript only.
The only down side is that user using IE will not be able to use multiple upload (at first, it’s possible to fall back to flash for browsers who does not support js only multi-upload).
