After several attempts to login to JIRA (I didn’t notice domain change at first) I was required to verify with a captcha image. However, it’s missing!

Password reset email didn’t reach my inbox either, so I’m stuck now and unable to login.

As it seems, you’re not alone: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,52887.0.html.

I was able to log in earlier this day (right now I’m locked out, too), but all my "watches" had gone. Is there a way to fix this?

      Cheers,
      Jan

We are currently upgrading Crowd, the user system behind JIRA and Confluence. We’ll have it back up in an hour or two. Sorry for the inconvience, guys.

Oh, I thought the upgrade had already been finished... embarrassed

The upgrade of the docs (confluence) and bugtracker (jira) was done, but the user management behind it all still needs to be upgraded. We are doing that now.

I’ve just checked it out, and the problem persists:

Sorry, your userid is required to answer a CAPTCHA question correctly.

              But there’s no image.

I’m a bit lost as to MODx sites’ logins. Is the same one valid for docs (currently http://rtfm.modx.com/), bugtracker (currently http://bugs.modx.com/) and the main site (http://modxcms.com/)?

I could login to bugtracker but not to docs (wanted to put some comments). I had to create another credential set for them as the forum’s could not be used.

Also, is there an announcement for changes in docs, bugtracker, move to GitHub, change of domain etc.? Where should issues be reported: to GitHub or JIRA?

              It’s unclear for me.

                Still can’t login. See attachment.

We’ve restricted Confluence access to those who’ve submitted CLAs and want to help with documentation. If you notice bugs in documentation, you can file them here: http://bugs.modx.com/browse/DOCS

Bugs should be reported in JIRA.

We’ll have some more docs on using GitHub (as well as contributing now that we’re in GitHub) soon.

                  • Captcha fails for want of a different flavor of Java. I’ll be migrating the servers from OpenJDK to SunJDK post haste.

                    Please stand by...

                    • Your CAPTCHA issues should be a thing of the past, a memory, a problem that once swirled about and is now gone.

Both docs./rtfm. and bugs. have been moved to a different JDK, allowing them access to the library used for CAPTCHA creation. If you have any other issues with this, please PM me.

                      Thanks!
