[Hack] Subsites - (Solve Friendly Alias Path)

Here is my setup, I set all my domain and subdomain pointing to the same directory, which I placed all my MODx installation on that same directory.......

my original subdomain path was /var/www/ , now changed to /var/www/html/ (like the domain path).

Should have thought on that. So the cause of the problem is actually:
1. The files is not being unzipped correctly by windows built compressed folder functionaility.
2. The subdomain is not being directed to the MODx installation.

and langage already in english and modified franch

but
i dont find the form you show on System Settings configuration page to prepare the sub domain.

What i do wrong?

there suppose to be 3 files that needs to be overwrite, and the one that you need is the english language file that need to be overwrite.
Before that, try to open the file and look for "subsites" without the quote. Make sure that every file that you open contains the modification. The case for banzai, the zip thingy doesn’t extract the package correctly, while I think it might happen in your case too.

Report back to me if you still unable to see the configuration textbox.

Yes, it’s under system configuration. On the main menu, you need to enabled subsites option to yes first, before you’ll be able to see the textarea to fill in your subdomain config.

Hemm, that’s weird.
Usually when you select enabled subsites, it will show up the textarea editor. FYI, I’m using the js code for the manager as well.

What browser do you use. Are you able to see the subsites enabled setting or both the subsites and the textarea doesn’t appeared on yours?
