Might I make a suggestion, that before anything else, you get to know yourself. Before you judge someone else or their beliefs, know your own heart. What if we could overcome insecurity for love, fear for empathy, education in place of assumptions and missunderstandings?

I agree, MODx is an amazing project, lead by a team of phenomenal programers who also happen to be truely compassionate and caring human beings. So whether you believe in a god, gods, or gaining a complete, personal understanding of the nature of existance, let’s not forget to thank the team that actually did this work.

I went from my father knocking me to the floor with a bloody nose for saying that I believed there was a God, to 20 years as a Jehovah’s Witness to Judaism, so I think I’ll just stay out of this one. Been there, done that.. I either have too much to say, or not enough.

I BEG your pardon!!? Are you insinuating that I’m not normal?

That was the one thing I really liked about being one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, I not only got to go around talking about religion, I had to! Of course, I frequently got in trouble because I was far more interested in the discussion than I was in getting money or making converts...actually, I never made any converts in the whole 20 years, although I could get people talking who usually greeted us with dogs or shotguns. I guess my father’s gun collection had its uses after all. And the naked guys coming to the door never slowed me down a bit, although they ended up pretty embarrassed. Hm. Maybe I’m not normal.
