How can I find and see the createdon date for a resource in the manager?

I can see publishedon, unpublished and publish in the document settings tab but no createdon.

Is there a TV needed to create this?

    Thanks

If you use Collections Extra, then you have the option to make that field visible
        TinymceWrapper: Complete back/frontend content solution.
Harden your MODX site by passwording your three main folders: core, manager, connectors and renaming your assets (thank me later!)

Thanks but way too complicated and seems like overkill for what I want.
        Installed it and nothing changed.
Looked at the tutorial and couldn't figure out how to actually make it work with existing content.

Collections isn't really what I'm after (although it's pretty cool.)

I just want to see the createdon date of the resource in the settings of the document, or as a TV.

I'm sure the createdon date used to be available in one of the document tabs.

I'm not sure this will help you, but you can easily display (and edit) the createdon date in the front end with NewsPublisher.

You could display it in the Manager with a plugin and some JavaScript, but it's not a trivial job.

              Bob,

              thanks but

I don't need it in the front end (and I know how to do that anyway)

I need it in the backend, and specifically under one of the tabs for a Resource.

I need it to do some maintenance and updating of some Resources.

As I said, I'm sure CreatedOn used to be in there right under the Published and Unpublished fields, but maybe that was on Evo.

Anyway I thought I might be able to do it as a TV, but so far I haven't had any luck getting that to work.

Then I came across this http://www.cmstricks.com/blog/2012/08/27/integrating-a-template-into-modx-part-5/ and got all excited about customising using Form Customization. Sadly no luck, but a very interesting article anyway.

Right now I'm thinking I may have to find it directly via the mysql panel.

              Thanks

OK, if I'm reading this modx doc correctly https://docs.modx.com/revolution/2.x/making-sites-with-modx/structuring-your-site/resources#Resources-ManagingResources the createdon date should already be there in a Resource (along with a few more).

They aren't, so my question is how do I get them to appear in as part of the Resource Settings Fields?

I know you can get the created on date using an extra called batcher which will allow you yo change it. Unsure about posting it jnto the form though sorry.

I've got Batcher, but I can't see any option to add or filter by createdon dates or columns.

You can't filter by it but you can right click on a resource and select change dates. Or you can of course multi-select and use the bulk action dropdown to change the createdon dates on multiple.
