It started when I was working on the system settings and noticed the system settings navigation stopped responding. Clicking the "previous page" button 5 times and the next thing I know is that the system logged me off...
All folders have 755 permissions and all files have 644 permissions.
Everything was working fine..
I was working with the same environment last month on this server when I decided to completely re-install modx revo2.0.4-pl2 and start over again.
Nothing wrong till suddenly I got kicked out this morning when working on the system settings (see above comment)
Deleting the following files:
sitePublishing.idx.php
config.cache.php
This fixed the redirect issue for me.
This is a serious issue and should be checked...
I will try to reproduce this and see what exactly happens with what setting in the backend.
by the way: no errors in any log files

Edit config.cache.php set "’session_cookie_secure’ => ’0’,"
