    Hi!

I install Revo for the first time (I'm a Evo user) but the manager asks my login/password all the time. I can use the manager but at one time or another, he asks me to login. I forget something?

Plus, sometimes, after the loading of the page of the manager, it still white or just a area. What's happen?

Try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings and see if that helps with either problem.

Assuming that you're not flushing all sessions manually from the menu, the problem with having to log in again is usually caused by a loss of the $_SESSION variable. Sometimes shared hosting trashes the session. Another issue might be a third-party cache on the server like APC or Varnish.

See if changing browsers makes a difference.

You could also have a problem plugin, though that's less likely.

compress_js and compress_css is off. Same issue.

        Same thing on Firefox.

I install Revo on a subdomain (http://modx.mysite.com) and I use Evo for my main website (http://www.mysite.com). Do you think this is the reason of the problem?

The two shouldn't conflict if you're not logged into both Managers at the same time.

In the Revolution .htaccess file (in the MODX root directory), make sure you uncomment one (but not both) of the sections that forces www or non-www URLs.

If that doesn't help, I'd suspect a problem with how the host is handling sessions.

My apologies if you know this already, but none of that is doing anything because the # token makes every line a comment. Remove the # to uncomment either the second of the third section.

Two important lines are still commented out, you want this:

                  # without www all domian
                  RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} .
                  RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.(.*)$ [NC]
                  RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://%1/$1 [R=301,L]

I change this too but the problem still here.
I notice that the manager asks me often (not each times) when I go to the Xtra Manager Page.
I don't understand and where is the logic.

If you are logged in multiple times (even in a different browser window), it will cause that.

If not, I would suspect an issue with the session_save_path.

What it your session_save_path System Setting in MODX set to?
