    hey everyone,

    just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?/noticed this problem?/maybe even has a solution to it?..

    have a site all set up, everythings going great...

    i have a form on a page but have found that when a forward slash iis added to the end of its address all mad things happen to the page,,, a quickedit thing appears with all these other links such as
    # Content

    * Calx End Date
    * CALx Start Date
    * Tags
    * Document content
    * Description
    * Summary (introtext)
    * Long title
    * Title

    # Settings

    * Show links
    * Document’s alias
    * Cacheable
    * Show in menu
    * Menu index
    * Menu title
    * Published?
    * Searchable
    * Template

    i have been learning modx as i build, and remember trying out some things before(such as calX), but i never really used them and dont see how they can be messing things up???

    so it like:
    www.mysite.com/myForm >>:works fine, no problems
    www.mysite.com/myForm/ >>:everything goes crazy

    ive included an image of what it looks like, hopefully someone recognizes it

    ps.... my first taughts were "well don’t add a forward slash!"...... unfortunately that’s not an option at the moment, need it for some sql stuff

    Thanks very much

      ok this is getting strange,,

      i found i had some old pluggins im not using anymore(ie calX and Quickedit) so i removed them an now whenever i put in an address with a forward slash at the end my templates css doesnt work...
      i checked the source and the html says its still pointing to my css file but on checking what css my page has loaded i get

      /* bluelink-window.css
      created by: Michael Cosentino
      last modified: 09 Apr 2007
      */

      body{

      etc etc............

      now i have no idea what is happening(or why im being pointed to Michael Cosentino’s css,,, or who he really is for that matter)

      huh huh huh this is getting wierd

        Do you have a base tag in you html header?
        <base href="http://domain.tld"></base>

          no that tag isnt there in the head at all...

          using firebug ive found that the css page is being connected via
          <link id="bluelink-window.css" href="http://s9.smrtlnks.com/css/bluelink-window.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
          tag in the head section

          my own css is still being linked but i have no idea where this link tag came from?? i’ve looked through my snippets & templates code and it is definatly not there??,

          ps....added a pic of firebug results

            You mean that the CSS reference is not part of your code? and that it is showing up uninvited? I would check your template code and confirm that it is not there, then I would check to see if any of your snippets may be calling this (MODx has an api function to insert css and js in to the header).

              yes thats it, i never wrote those lines,

              the following

              <title></title><link id="bluelink-window.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="http://s9.smrtlnks.com/css/bluelink-window.css">

              is not my code, it is added just before the </head> tag, and as i already have the <title>[*pagetitle*]</title> this is adding an empty <title></title> as well for some reason

              i have been through my template and all of my snippets to search for this but cant find it anywhere??

                Are you by chance on a free host? I think that most of them typically will modify your pages and insert their own ad wrapper around your code causing all sorts of problems. What you’re seeing could be part of that.

                    According to this post this problem may be related to a firefox plug-in.
