Hi ,
Is it possible that the $modx->regClientCSS function is not working on the manager login page?

How are you using that function?
Thanks for your reply. I created a plugin and several events that triggers the plugin. The same plugin works just fine on the front and back-end. Just doesn't at the login page.

$modx->regClientCSS is intended for Resources being displayed on the front end I believe.
The login page is templated here:
https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/tree/master/manager/templates/default/security
But the strange thing is that it also works just fine at the manager, only not at the login page.

In backend try addCss/addJavascript/addLastJavascript/addHtml. RegClient functions are for frontend as far as I know and work only partly in backend. On some manager pages RegClient functions were removed with 2.3.
Thanks, but when i try $modx->addCss('/example/example.css'); i receiving internal server error.
What events are you connecting it to? Most of the login events fire after the user submits the login form (including OnBeforeManagerLogin).
I think it might work if you used OnManagerLoginFormPrerender.

That login form is generated using a Manager template loaded with extJS classes and Smarty tags. I have my doubts that any plugin is going to be able to do much with anything there. I have never liked Smarty, and extJS isn't exactly my favorite Javascript library either.
What, exactly, are you trying to do? You will probably be better off cloning the /manager/templates/default/ folder to /manager/templates/mytheme/, then edit the /manager/templates/mytheme/security/login.tpl, and set the manager_theme to be your 'mytheme' theme.
