    Hello,

I get 2 strange parse errors and I don’t know how to fix them.

    First one is
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Unknown column 'assets' in 'where clause' »
SQL: SELECT pagetitle FROM modx_site_content WHERE id = 128/assets/js/slimbox/js/slimbox.js

    and 2d one :

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '\" gaJsHost \"google-analytics.com/ga.js' at line 1 »
SQL: SELECT pagetitle FROM modx_site_content WHERE id = 128/\" gaJsHost \"google-analytics.com/ga.js

I use slimbox and Google Anlaytics, but why do they come here huh

    Thanks for help ! smiley

Sounds like someone or some process is linking to those URL’s, i.e. domain.tld/index.php?id=128/assets/js/slimbox/js/slimbox.js

It sounds to me like some add-on or page you’ve created or chosen, is not properly creating links to your slimbox and Google Analytics scripts.

          Errors are back sad

          In manager logs :

« Execution of a query to the database failed - Unknown column 'assets' in 'where clause' »
SQL: SELECT pagetitle FROM modx_site_content WHERE id = 195/assets/js/mootools.js

          and in apache logs :

          xx.xx.xxx.xxx - - [02/Jun/2008:21:26:55 +0200] "GET /idees-decoration/luminaires/appliques-murales/assets/js/assets/js/assets/js/assets/js/assets/js/assets/js/assets/js/slimbox/js/assets/js/slimbox/js/assets/js/slimbox/js/assets/js/assets/js/slimbox/js/assets/js/mootools.js HTTP/1.1" 404 21938 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1;1813)"

Anyone knows how I can debug this ??

Strange thing is that it doesn’t come with all users. Sometimes I get errors, sometimes no

              Hi Eol,

Are you using Rewriting ? SEO Strict URLs ? Virtual Aliases ?

SEOstrict 1.1 on Friendly URLs configuration, videobox.js and some other things on one site... SWFobject on the other with those infinite assets/js/assets/js errors.

I’m not sure yet but it looks like some clients (IE6, Y!slurp) confuse location of HTML head section resources (mostly JavaScript includes) with relative paths and BASE tag. Could be a rogue rewriting plugin, too.

Heliotrope told me that he already saw those long URLs in Slimstats...

He also read some things on the web to use <base></base> instead of <base />

                  I just try it... let’s see !

And do you also get those errors :
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Unknown column 'assets' in 'where clause' »
SQL: SELECT pagetitle FROM modx_site_content WHERE id = 195/assets/js/mootools.js

I did get them before also with Google analytics but now, only mootools.

Do you use suffix for friendly URLs ? I do not...

Since we have the same host and virtually the same config (Debian Etch 4.0, DirectAdmin 1.32.0, Apache 2.2.8, MySQL 5.0.45, PHP 5.2.6) run by the same server admin, we can probably eliminate a bit : aside from subdomains which need to be created as domains in DirectAdmin, I have encountered no problem with SEO strict URLs.

BTW I use suffix for friendly URLs.

Did you try to give a look at Reports > System Events in MODx to identify which process is causing the errors ?

Also, to get more detail maybe by changing
                      error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE);
                      in index.php to
                      error_reporting(E_ALL);
                      ?

It seems very strange that the process sending the error is appending the path just after the document’s ID huh

Are you using absolute or relative paths ?

I guess a detailed list of which addons you have up and running on that MODx install is in order smiley
