Some servers are configured to run a .php file before any other .php files (like our manager's index.php file). In such a case, AJAX requests get the output of the server's .php file as well as our page's output, breaking the AJAX. The request worked, which is where the 200 message comes from, but the poor AJAX doesn't know what to do with it and dies.

Hi Susan, thanks - now i found in my servers php.ini the directive: auto_prepend_file having a value: /home/httpd/php/prepend_file_apache22.php. Is there a possible solution to my ModX 2.3 (a fix) in the next future or do you think i should go and restore the 2.2.14-pl BackUp witch is allways kind of a risky thing.
Regards Roland

Great find by Mark H. Updated my sites and it resolves a few issues I still had with the manager.
