Hello, I have a project with 3 pages, (this are pages that I donate for animal refuges) this pages has different templates and content, but the snippets, plugins, chunks, are the same!

I was thinking, if there is a way to manage the snippets and chunks from one page, and call this info from the other two pages, any change will be displayed in the other pages too!

I don't want to repeat the same process in every page, every time that I need to install a new snippet, or plugin or create a chunk!

    Any Ideas????

    ModX Evo. last version!

Why not put all the stuff into a single Chunk and reference that Chunk by both pages? If everything really is the same, then you could put all this stuff into your template file and use the same template on both pages (i.e. only your content would change).

The point is, if I want to improve or update all the 3 pages with a new breadcrumb, or a new Wayfinder or something, I will need to copy the files, in every FTP, and create and copy the snippet code in every page, and then use the code [! !] in the template to call the new Extra.

I just want to do that in one page and then use the code [! !] in the template where i need in all the 3 pages... because in the future may be are 4 or 10 similar pages!

the templates may change, may be call the snippets in different places, but the snippets going to be the same ones!

Everything in one chunk, or template I don't think it works, because my problem are the ModX Extras and some Chunks like the Ditto or Mayfinder TPL, i just wanto to modify one and call it from every page.

I don't know if in ModX there is a way to change the Snippets, Plugins and chunk address, to call it from other web sites!

        What do you think?
and thank you for your answer!

My head just exploded. What? Call them from other sites? You shouldn't be doing that unless you're a developer building some kind of API. Sorry, I'm really not following what you're trying to do.

You can't do that with Evo. That's why Revo introduces "contexts", so you can manage multiple sites with the same core.

But Context cover Snippets, Chunks, and Plugins? Because i can create the sites in Revo if Evo can't do what I need!

Are those three pages actually in completely different domains(like page1.com page2.com, etc.) or are they just different URLs on the same site? If they're all on the same site, they will automatically share templates, chunks, snippets, and plugins automatically (but they can certainly have different templates if you want them to).

Different Domains Bob. every page is a .org because there are dog care organizations!
the main idea is update one page and the other pages recieve the update automatically, but not content or tempaltes, only chunks, snippets and plugins!
