I'm finally starting to understand what Shawn was trying to tell me. I'll have to try baby steps in order to understand what I'm doing at each stage since all is new to me, but I think I know where I'm standing now.

Shawn, as you can tell from this, I have never implemented an xPDO derived class before. These are my first experiments in extending objects and molding classes. I realized this was the way to go in order to accomplish what I wanted, I just didn't know how much it would take me to get there. =)

And thanks a lot both of you for explaining the difference between xPDOObject and xPDOSimpleObject. Now that I know that, I understand that xPDOSimpleObject would not work in the context of what I was doing, but it may be useful somewhere else.
