Are there any plugins for easy testing? I've got two versions of a CTA to test on my home page and can't find any documentation on how to implement this. New to Modx and split testing!

Ok... what's a CTA? I'm not very good at acronynms.
sorry, call to action - don't know why I didn't just say button - obviously spending too much time with my boss!
Maybe so.

It doesn't actually sound like 'multivariate testing' either (just A/B testing), unless you're actually going to run an ANOVA on the results.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analysis_of_variance. If you are, I apologize for being snarky (actually, I apologize either way).

Well, that's OK with me, as I have no idea what "multivariate" testing or A/B testing is. But I did learn what a "call to action" is just a few weeks ago, so I suppose that's something
Here's a good article (at any rate one I can understand) I found on A/B testing

And here's one on multivariate testing

Hm. From looking at all this, I'd say you need to put your A and B variants in chunks, then use a snippet to randomly load one of the chunks.
You'll also need to have the snippet set and read a cookie, to make sure that repeat visitors get the same variant on each visit. I'd be inclined to keep a record of variant+IP address to use in case of no cookie; I have my browser configured to delete all but specified domain's cookies on closing the browser so a cookie check would fail for me.
I suppose there could be several ways to log the conversion results. A snippet on the landing page could store a count of GET values A and B for a simple record.
pardon my grammar, snippets *were* the way to go
How will you track the results? Have you thought of using google analytics Experiments for it?
