What is the word from the MODx team on this? Something to integrate into MODx 2.3.0?

Well, it's a interesting solution, anyway I think we should test it a little more before asking to integrate in modx 2.3 smiley

This sounds really great, but I have some concerns to try it out in large production sites (with a big resource tree which slows the manager speed down like hell)...so I'll have an eye on this and try it out on my own installation soon.

The main question that has come up in my case is: How about MIGX? I almost use it in every setup, so if your plugin doesn't work with MIGX (what I would totally understand btw) this could be a blocker for a lot of people.

but keep up the nice work!

Perhaps you could use the MIGXdb as a resource manager to hide groups of resources in the tree, similar in effect to a much simplified Articles?

Coupled with QuickBar it could really improve editing and adding new resources. http://modx.com/extras/package/quickbar

I have uploaded AjaxManager to modx.com repo. Now plugin works better with Firefox and with incompatible components. Please see instructions in the 1st post.
